Registration Requirements

In order to be a voter in Quincy, you must be:

  1. A United States citizen

  2. Age 18 on or before election day

  3. A resident of Quincy

The last day to register to vote for the September Primary Election is Wednesday, August 12th, 2020. The last day to register to vote for the November Final Election is Wednesday, October 14th, 2020.

You can register to vote and find other election information through the Quincy City Clerk’s election’s office by clicking here or by contacting them at 617-376-1132. The Quincy City Clerk’s office is located at 1306 Hancock Street, 2nd Floor.

Primary Day is Tuesday, September 1st, 2020.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020.

Polls are open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Early voting begins on Monday, October 19th, 2020 and ends on Friday, October 30th, 2020.

Where do I vote?

Your voting location depends on the address on your voter registration form application. Every address has is tied to a ward and precinct. The voting locations are found on the Quincy City Clerk’s website. If you moved, you must submit a new voter registration form to reflect your address and voting location. The City of Quincy does periodically change voting locations, so you may want to check the website or call the clerk’s office to confirm location.
